Chess is a beautifully feminine filly with a sweet nature and real presence, bred by Ashbank Equestrian and sired by the amazing stallion Stravinsky (now sadly deceased). Stravinsky retired sound from racing and competed in dressage at PSG in Sweden and Intermediare II in Denmark. The dam's first foal was Champion Part Bred Hanoverian at age 2 and now competes in affiliated dressage. Chess is growing into her early promise and has foaled a bay tobiano filly "Rummy" to Josh on the 14 March 2012.

We bought Checkers because of her incredible off the floor paces and sweet friendly nature - she's also extremely flashy with her big white blaze and three white socks. Checkers is the main "meet and greet" horse for the Dashdance herd and makes sure to give everyone kisses and cuddles when they visit. Checkers has foaled "Joker", a bay tobiano colt by Josh on the 1st April 2012.
